INGREDIENTS
1. 100 g Gram flour
2. 120 g Curd
3. 1 tsp sugar
4. salt to taste
5. red chillie powder
6. Black pepper powder
7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
8. 1 tsp garam masala
9. 2 medium sized finely chopped carrots
10. Finely chopped cabbage
11. Grated coconut
12. Chopped one onion
13. 1tsp mustard seeds
14. One finely chopped green chillie.
METHOD
1. Mix gram flour, curd, sugar, salt, red chillie powder and turmeric powder in a bowl.
2. Take one glass of water in a pan and add the mixture to it. Turn on the heat and stir it well so as to avoid the formation of lumps in it.
3. Heat it until it forms a semi thick paste.
4. Invert a steel plate and grease it with ghee.
5. Spread the paste on the plate as shown in the picture. Keep this plate in refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.
6. Now for filling material add some oil to a pan. Add mustard seeds.
7. When the mustard seeds start crackling add finely chopped onion to it.
8. When the onion is golden brown add salt to it.
9. Add carrot, Cabbage, green chillie, garam masala, and red chillie powder to it.
10. Mix it well and add black pepper powder to it.
11. Now stir fry the vegetables until they are cooked well.
12. Take the plate out after 5-10 minutes and apply tomato ketchup or tamarind chutney on it.
13. Sprinkle grated coconut and the filling material. Slice it with a knife as shown.
14. Roll the slices as shown.
15. Garnish it with grated coconut or sesame seeds.
