PAV BHAJI

PAV BHAJI




INGREDIENTS

1. Capsicum - 100g
2.French Bean-100g 
3.Green Chillies -  2
4.pumpkin -150g
5.Cauliflower-150g
6.potato -200g
7.Onion-  100g
8.Tomato-100g
9. Coriander
10.Paneer
11.Butter
12Sugar-1tsp
13.Garam Masala -1tsp

Method

1. Add finely chopped vegetables ( except tomato and onion) , turmeric powder, salt and red chillie powder to pressure cooker and let them cook well.

2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Then add ginger garlic paste and onion and salute until light brown.



3. Now add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, sugar, salt.



4.Now add cooked vegetables to this paste and mix it well. Then add pav bhaji masala ( look for it below the recipe of pav bhaji ) and garam masala to it.
 


5. The vegetables should be properly mashed.


6. Turn off the heat and add butter and lemon juice. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and paneer.

7. Serve with pav.

Note - Pumpkin is not usually added to bhaji but since it is a rich source of Vitamin A and children usually avoid it adding it to bhaji makes it taste delicious. You can also add other vegetables like carrot and peas as well.

  1. Black salt - 1tbsp
  2. Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  3. Cummin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
  4. Table salt - 1 tbsp
  5. Red chillie powder - 2 tbsp
  6. Dry mango powder - 1 tbsp
  7. Aniseed - 2 tbsp
  8. Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp

Method

1. Roast Cummin seeds, aniseed and Coriander seeds in a pan until light brown.

2. Now grind these roasted seeds and the rest of spices in a mixer and pav bhaji masala is ready.
