SHAHI KHEER - शाही खीर 



Ingredients 

1. Deshi ghee - 100 gm
2. Milk - 1 kg
3. Paneer (cheese) - 150 gm
4. Khoya (mava) - 250 gm
5. Raisins - 50 gm
6. Cashew nuts - 50 gm
7. Makahane - 50 gm
8. Dry grated coconut - 50gm
9. Sugar - 150 gm
10. Cream - 4 tbsp

Procedure

1. Fry makane and paneer in ghee.

2. Cut paneer in small pieces  and crush makahne into powder.

3. Cut cashew nuts into small pieces.

4. Boil the milk and add khoya and powdered makahne to it.

5. Let it boil for 8-10 minutes on medium flame and add dry fruits in it.

6. After the paste gets thick add sugar, cream and paneer to it.

7. Boil it for another 1 minute and Shahi kheer is ready.

8. You may decorate it with cherries or silver work. You can enjoy it both hot or chilled.
